  1. Great stuff, as always.
Interesting question: How to determine whether the Bolasie goal helped me in terms of overall rank?
Owning Bolasie, Bellerin, Gabriel, and with Sanchez (c), the goal probably cost me a couple points overall. But with the ownership of the Arsenal players, I think I probably came out ahead. (My rank is around 1k).
    Any insights appreciated.

    • Slightly helped I guess.
Top 10K have 1.15 Arsenal defenders, Sanchez has effective ownership around 100%. Bolasie ownership is almost negligible. So you probably lost on roughly 4 points because of defenders losing their clean sheets and bonus and 2 points because of Sanchez losing his CS and a bap, but got extra 8 points for Bolasie. So, it’s a 2 points gain.
Ownerships around 1K mark might be slightly different, so the actual effect might also be slightly different. But yeah, I guess it was a slightly positive event for you.

      • Thanks. I guess I should be cheering for Bolasie and Mitrovic midweek, then, despite also owning Smalling and Otamendi.
        Cheers!

      • Definitely helped since Sanchez likely would have got no bonus if Arsenal kept a clean sheet (can debate whether he would have taken that last minute off target shot to take him off 30 BPS though). Bolasie and Sanchez(c) were bigger OR movers than Bellerin and Gabriel when Monreal would have got 2 bonus as well

        • Oh yeah, you’re right, without that goal Sanchez would have been out of bonus points: Gabriel(3), Monreal(2), Bellerin(1).
I just calculated that in this case the top10K average would have been 5.1 points higher. ‘The cromument one’ has got +1*2 for Sanchez, +8 for Bolasie, -6 for Gabriel and -5 for Bellerin, that’s -1. So:
          (-1) – (-5.1) = +4.1 😀
